Catarina is kidnapped by someone while on her way to the ball, but after awakening in an unfamiliar room, she struggles to fully grasp her situation and doesn’t seem to realize she’s been kidnapped. Even when the kidnapper shows up to see her in person and she asks why she was kidnapped, her questions are easily dodged. Meanwhile, Geordo receives a letter from the kidnapper and immediately begins an investigation to find and rescue Catarina.
